You will manage member communications, coordinate events, and foster a strong sense of community among our members.Key Responsibilities:Member Engagement: Develop and execute strategies to demonstrate value and increase member participation and satisfaction. Conduct and analyse member surveys and feedback sessions to understand member needs and preferences.Communications: Manage member communications, including newsletters, emails, social media, and website content. Create engaging and informative content that resonates with members and promotes organisational goals.Event Coordination: Plan and coordinate member events, webinars, and workshops. Facilitate member events and activities, ensuring successful execution and evaluating outcomes for continuous improvement.Community Building: Foster a sense of community among members through various engagement activities. Facilitate networking opportunities and support member-led initiatives and volunteer programs.Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and report on member engagement metrics and communication effectiveness. Provide regular updates to senior management on member engagement activities and outcomes.Skills and Experience:Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.Proven ability to build rapport, influence, and negotiate with members or equivalent stakeholder representatives.Previous experience in event management and member engagement initiatives.Advanced facilitation and presentation skills.Media liaison and experience in crisis and/or issues management.Proven success in developing and delivering effective and impactful communications across various mediums.Extensive project management skills and experience, including financial and budget management.Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Teams, and contemporary office software applications.Why Join Us?Be part of a collaborative and innovative team dedicated to making a difference in Australias animal health and biosecurity systems.
