We are seeking a Senior Contracts Specialist to join our team and support the delivery of key civil, infrastructure, and maintenance projects across multiple sites.This role is responsible for leading procurement activities, managing contracts, and ensuring effective stakeholder engagement. You will play a key role in delivering capital works programs, maintaining project controls, and optimising supply chain strategies.Key ResponsibilitiesLead procurement activities for civil infrastructure projects, ensuring best practice sourcing and contract management.Support project teams in cost control, quality assurance, and schedule management.Develop and negotiate fit-for-purpose contracts, ensuring risk mitigation and compliance.Manage contract administration, including claims, variations, and milestone payments.Proactively engage with key stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business needs.Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and supplier performance enhancement.Ensure compliance with procurement policies and relevant government regulations.Utilise procurement systems for vendor management, tender processes, and reporting.Skills, Experience and Qualifications:Proven ability to lead and mentor a small team, driving efficiency and collaboration.Strong understanding of procurement and contract management within civil and infrastructure projects.Proficiency in ERP systems, contract administration, and category management principles.Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and government bodies.Experience in negotiating contracts, managing risks, and optimising procurement strategies.A degree in Business, Commerce, Quantity Surveying, Law, or a related field.Minimum 5 years'' experience in a similar procurement or contract management role.Experience in administering construction and infrastructure contracts.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in commercial and contractual matters.Experience using procurement and ERP systems. #J-18808-Ljbffr
