The scope of the Implementation & Activation team covers the Implementation Planning and Activation of all media channels and touchpoints, with a focus on delivering connected, audience-first client outputs. Within the team, we have some team members who work across all channels and both implementation planning & activation, and others who specialise and work across a more focused scope of work, (for example, Performance specialists who work across Social & Search).With our collective industry expertise, we navigate the ever-changing media landscape efficiently and effectively, fuelling growth for the brands we work with. Our commitment to transparency and accountability drives best-in-class results consistently, leveraging our exceptional media relationships to keep our finger on the pulse of emerging opportunities.Role OutlineThe Implementation & Activation Coordinator is an important foundational role, establishing operational excellence and responsible for supporting day-to-day work that delivers effective campaigns, ensuring best-in-class consistent implementation, optimisation, and reporting. Working very closely with your manager, you will produce best-in-class solutions, offer unparalleled service and deliver against targets.The role involves the development and application of specialist technical skills.Key RelationshipsCollaborating closely with internal teamsEstablishing strong relationships with relevant media, data, and technology partnersFostering deep trust and understanding with clientsContribute to great teamwork in your immediate teamYour Responsibilities as CoordinatorClientsEstablish an understanding of client challenges, objectives & initiatives.Help build on the agency''s reputation for outstanding client service.Clear understanding of the in-scope services of your clients and the process for completing work above and beyond.Begin developing relationships with clients at a junior level, as it relates to activation.Proactively recommend tactics and opportunities that resolve client challenges and objectives.ProductEngage with our media partners to build knowledge of the media landscape and understanding of core media principles and the capabilities of each media touchpoint.Engage with internal product teams including GroupM proprietary solutions teams to ensure you have an understanding about their offerings and relevance to our clients.Bring innovation and creativity to the table, leveraging insights from across the market.Support the booking, loading, optimizing, material instruction and tracking of client media campaigns, in line with marketplace best practice processes and ways of working, applying insightful context and immaculate attention to detail throughout.Support the construction of insightful and progressive post analysis reports.Responsible for ensuring all financial and compliance processes are followed with 100% accuracy, including bookings and loadings, account queries and monthly proforma checks.Seek to find, communicate, and implement improvements in all aspects of the role.Dedicate time to self-learning through reading industry publications, research papers and online courses (including GroupM University and MFA).PeopleOpenly communicate and collaborate with all internal key stakeholders on delivery and reporting regularly.Positively contribute to team meetings and owning follow-ups.Provide clear guidance and instruction when teaching & helping others.Contribute to great teamwork with a supportive and positive can-do attitude.Growth & MarketingCollaborate closely with your manager to identify, collate and showcase examples of great work from within the team, both internally and externally.Be a positive face of the agency at industry events, either related to clients category or our media partners.Your Experience & SuccessWhat Makes You GreatYou feel empowered to bring your authentic self to work, and contribute to great teamwork, knowing your individual ideas and thoughts will be welcome.Keen interest in our industry and excited to work with market leading partners & technologies.Inquisitive and demonstrates desire to understand and know more.Attention to detail.Ability to prioritise tasks effectively, ensuring that the most important and urgent ones are identified and addressed first.Problem solving mentality.Clear communicator.Results driven with the ability to identify and clearly articulate whats working and why.What Success Looks LikeIn 3 months:Established collaborative relationships with all key stakeholders.A strong understanding of and can clearly articulate the agency and group proposition, core processes and our way of working.Immersed yourself in the team with an understanding of the status of all active and upcoming campaigns.In 6 months:Demonstrated your ability to deliver on all aspects of the role in an efficient, effective, and proactive way.Owning the processes for specific allocated clients/campaigns from end to end, ensuring that your manager and wider team are regularly updated on the performance of each campaign and demonstrating excellent attention to detail.Strengthened your key stakeholder relationships to deliver great teamwork consistently.In 12 months:Taking on greater ownership for campaigns and clients responsibility and volume.Building strong relationships with publishers, representing the agency team appropriately and ensuring that campaigns are delivered to the highest quality.Your Craft SpecialismPerformance SpecialistThe scope of the Implementation & Activation team covers the Implementation Planning and Activation of all media channels and touchpoints, with a focus on delivering connected, audience-first client outputs.
