In this pivotal, call centre-focused role, you will be the first point of contact for the public, responding to a high volume of inbound calls and representing the Council with professionalism and care. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver first-call resolution and consistently provide positive customer experiences over the phone.Working in a fast-paced contact centre environment, you''ll act as a bridge between the community and Council services, ensuring suitable outcomes are achieved for every interaction. Call centre experience is essential, as you''ll need to navigate complex queries and systems with confidence and efficiency.While the core focus of this role is within our call centre, the role is multi-faceted, and you will also work shifts across our Customer and Library Service Centres. This includes maintaining the presentation of our service points, supporting patrons with general enquiries or technology use, and assisting with programs that include our weekly childrens activities that engage our youngest community members.To thrive in this role, you''ll be adaptable, community-focused, and ready to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
