This role will work within our contract for the Australian Defence Force where you''ll work under general supervision, either independently or as part of a team, to perform a range of tasks:Perform Seamsperson tasks including sewing rank badges, medals and insigniasPerform basic clothing alterations such as hemmingPerform tailoring measurements of customersProviding customer service and using POS experience with EFTPOS, barcode scanners, and POS system is beneficial.Help clients & customers by assisting with outfitting and kitting of clothingEnsuring accurate work order records are keptGeneral clothing stores duties including ensuring clothing store inventory records are accurateWhat Were Looking For:A passion for sewing and a desire to learn moreExperience with hand stitching or sewing machines is a plus, but not mandatoryA friendly, team-oriented attitude with strong customer service skillsBasic computer skills, including experience with EFTPOS, barcode scanners, and POS systemsCurrent licence and reliable transport (Required)Must be eligible to hold a Defence baseline security clearance.
