With an enviable list of completed projects, we have a strong pipeline of upcoming projects.The RoleReporting directly to the owners, you will be an integral member of a small but top performing finance team. You will be responsible for all aspects of Management and Financial Accounting for the business and will provide integral support to the owners in all aspects of the finance function.Key responsibilities will include but will not be restricted to:Prepare weekly financial report including profit and loss and balance sheetAnalysis of onsite financial tracking and Xero profit and lossSupervision of AP and ARPreparation of project and business Cashflow StatementsAssistance with Builder ClaimReview of Labour Claim sent out to subcontractorsPreparation and lodgement of monthly Business Activity StatementAdhoc reporting as and when requiredWorkcover Annual ReturnThe successful candidateIn order to secure this position, you will be an ambitious Accountant looking to progress your career within the construction sector. This would be an excellent first move for a CA / CPA qualified Accountant looking to make their first move from a Mid Tier or Big 4 firm (ideally from Business Advisory Services). Alternatively, you may be currently working as a Financial / Management Accountant in an industry-based role. Previous experience within the construction sector is essential. With strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills, you will be capable of building strong working relationships across all levels, both internally and externally.
