Youth Engagement Officer - Alcohol and Other Drugs CounsellorFull Time vacancy (max-term contract for leave coverage till end of December 2025)Location: Newcastle and fortnightly outreach appointments to Cessnock and MaitlandThis role is paid under the Social, Community, Home Care & Disability Services Award 2010 - Level 5About the opportunity:Your primary responsibility is to offer person-centered therapeutic support and employ a strengths-based, collaborative approach to assist young individuals in addressing the adverse effects of their alcohol or other drugs use.
