Our service technicians/ mechanics are considered an integral part of the front line and are the face of our business. They demonstrate being proactive to achieve the best possible outcome for the Company and the Customer.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, service and trouble shoot machines, equipment, instruments and control systems.Repair and replace faulty or defective parts and wiring.Reassemble, test operating and adjusting equipment.Install, service and repair electronic instruments and control systems.Install, service and repair GPS instruments and control systems.Diagnose, overhaul, repair, tune maintain and test various diesel/petrol & gas-powered vehicles.Detect mechanical and electrical faults by using instruments that check the following: charging and starting circuitry, batteries, ignition, and ignition timing, fuel injection systems and speed control, cylinder compression, engine condition, braking efficiency, wheel balance and alignment, air conditioning, hydraulic systems and air conditioning systems along with any other functions that are specific to our line of business.Repair and maintain the hydraulic components of various diesel/petrol and gas engines that are used to power attachments such as hoists, booms, scrapes, buckets, and augers etc.Use oxy, electric, TIG and MIG welding, hand fitting or machining processes to repair or replace faulty parts.Carry out field servicing of equipment and machines on a day-to-day basis and also from time to time intra/interstate travel may be required for extended periods of which suitable notice will be given.Carry out all work in accordance with the company policy or as directed by the workshop/service co-ordinator.Account for all spare parts used/not used on jobs by entering them on the job cards that are allocated to each job by the workshop/service co-ordinator.Complete all paperwork associated with each job, timely (at the conclusion of each job) and accurately and submit it in accordance with standard procedures.QualificationsExperienced technician working with a variety of machines and equipment.Moderate level of fitness.Be able to work with oils, grease and other fuels and chemicals.Good understanding of New Holland machinery or other major brands and accessories.Strong level of diagnostics and industry software.Full Drivers Licence.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeIndustriesHuman Resources Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
