As an employer, we pride ourselves on our inclusive company culture and our dedication to the development and wellbeing of our team.About the role:As the Plant Maintenance Manager based in Ingleburn, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our plant and equipment. Reporting to the Branch General Manager and working closely with the National Engineering Manager, you will lead a dedicated team of maintenance professionals to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement activities.Key Responsibilities:Act as the direct manager for our maintenance team, ensuring that all plant and equipment operate efficiently and safely to operational capacity.Lead the completion of preventative maintenance schedules through the CMMS.Identify efficiency improvements and assist with any plant upgrades and installations.Oversee contractor management for all contractors working onsite.Ensure all work is completed within budget parameters.Maintain compliance with health, safety, and all applicable regulations.Work collaboratively with internal departments, including production and service.What Were Looking For:Proven leadership experience managing a team of tradespeople and contractors, preferably in a plant maintenance-based environment.Strong people management skills, with the ability to motivate and support a diverse team.Tertiary or Trade qualifications in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) with hands-on experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in CMMS, and a solid understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles and safety risk assessments.Strong knowledge of AUS compliance standards, with experience in implementing corrective actions.Excellent communication skills, with a "can-do" attitude and a proactive approach to achieving results.This is a great opportunity for someone who has some leadership experience and is looking to take a step up in their career, or someone who is wanting to obtain better work-life balance, with only having to manage one shift (between the hours of 5am to 5pm Monday to Friday).Why Join Us?Be part of a growing and respected business in the rental uniform and textile industry.Lead a dynamic team with the autonomy to make a real impact.Competitive salary and great benefits.Supportive and team-focused company culture, that values your future and career growth.Access to employee perks including an education assistance program, paid parental leave, employee discounts, and discounted private insurance.We are dedicated to creating more sustainable business practices in the transport and textile industries, helping us reduce our impact on the planet.Apply and join our team today!Alsco Uniforms is a privately listed company, meaning our profits are reinvested into our Employees, our Customer and our Environmental and Community goals.
