Focused on delivering on-demand power and extensive storage capacity, this project is leading the way towards a sustainable, low-carbon future.Job description:Start Your Snowy JourneyBased in Cooma with regular site visits, this position will strengthen the Project Acceleration team''s capacity and capability. The team is responsible for driving efficiency improvements with the main contractor. The goal is to collaboratively develop and implement initiatives that enhance productivity and mitigate schedule risks across key work fronts in the construction of Snowy 2.0, with particular emphasis on the underground power station.The Role:Key Responsibilities:Collaboration in identifying, quantifying, prioritising & implementing initiativesCollaborate with SHL and the main contractor to identify initiatives that accelerate or de-risk work.Work with experts and project teams for technical development of initiatives.Quantify and prioritise initiatives with the greatest impact and contractor support.Relationship BuildingBuild strong relationships with engineers, supervisors, and project managers to ensure initiative buy-in and accountability.Use flexible leadership and interpersonal skills to foster positive internal and external relationships.Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve and maintain effective working relationships.Uphold "one team" principles to achieve the best project outcomes.Implementation AssuranceEnsure full adoption of initiatives by the main contractor, maintaining oversight for successful implementation.Measure and track productivity improvements, celebrating milestones and successes.Update and adjust initiatives as needed to maximise impact and adapt to changing circumstances.What You''ll Bring:Extensive experience as a consultant in power stations (preferred) and water infrastructure, with a proven track record of driving productivity improvements in large energy infrastructure projects. You bring in-depth knowledge and expertise in power generation, large-scale infrastructure projects, including hydropower, as well as a solid background in procurement, construction, and commissioning. Your experience includes navigating commercial aspects between clients, EPC contractors, and subcontractors to successfully drive change. Holding a Master''s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Energy) and relevant certifications in data analysis and change management, you are well-equipped to contribute effectively to the success of energy projects. #J-18808-Ljbffr
