Fixed Term Full Time, 40 hours per week + ADO till 31 December 2026HS6About The RoleGrampians Health (GH) are seeking a Senior ICT Project Manager to a significant program of work to plan, design and implement a network uplift and other IT infrastructure enablement projects across Grampians Health to support the implementation of the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.The Senior ICT Project Lead will work closely with the EMR Project team and Digital Health Teams, and will coordinate with multiple stakeholders across Grampians Health, and vendors to deliver network and other IT Infrastructure readiness work packages for the EMR.About the Grampians Health (GH) Electronic Medical Records (EMR) ProjectThe GH EMR Project is a large-scale clinical transformation project across Grampians Health, and an opportunity to be part of the organisations digital transformation journey. The EMR project aims to deliver a comprehensive digital patient record across the ambulatory and inpatient areas of GH.The GH EMR project team will be responsible for designing, building and implementing the new EMR, drawing on clinical, health informatics, technology and change expertise. The target completion of the project is late 2026.The GH EMR project team will also work collaboratively with the EMR project team at St Vincents Hospital Melbourne as we partner to deliver a shared EMR.This position is open to candidates from all Grampians Health locations, including Ballarat, Dimboola, Edenhope, Horsham, and Stawell.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee the technical project deliverables which includes Network uplift and other EMR Infrastructure components to meet the EMR program objectives.Development of project documentation including initiation, objectives, scope, plan, work packages, risks/issue log and resource requirements and post implementation reviews relevant to project complexity and risk.Management or coordination of project vendors to design, procure and implement agreed services or work packages.Develop and lead a highly motivated and delivery focused program team to ensure continuous effective service delivery, a constructive workplace culture and safe workplace.Work collaboratively with EMR program stakeholders and participate in appropriate technical forums and governance.Work collaboratively with Digital Health teams to ensure smooth transition from project implementation to BAU network management.Ensure that Business Cases / Statements of Works are of appropriate quality to ensure a high probability of delivery of outputs and benefits as stated.Skills, Qualifications & ExperienceTertiary Qualifications in Project Management / Business / Information Technology and / or relevant equivalent experience or minimum 5 years similar practical experience.Project Management qualifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile / Scrum certificates) are highly desirable (or working towards).Previous experience working in a large scale EMR implementation would be an advantage.Demonstrated experience and proven success in similar positions managing multiple technical information systems projects including infrastructure rollouts, network optimisation within a large, complex organisation would be highly advantageous.Interested?Click APPLY or if you wish to discuss the role prior to applying, contact Mohneesh Mahajan, Director Digital Health Infrastructure on 03 5320 6623 or mohneesh.mahajan@gh.org.au for a confidential discussion.If you are currently employed at Grampians Health, please ensure you sign in through the ''Employee Login'' via the external Careers Page or access the Careers Page via the Intranet before applying.We''re actively seeking candidates for this role and will review applications as they are submitted.
