Apply now Job no: 571384Work type: Part-timeLocation: Ararat, Other - Regional Victoria, WarrnamboolCategories: AdministrationWarrnambool and Ararat locationsPart-time (0.5 FTE) and Fixed term until 31 December 2026HEW 5 $80,199 - $89,950 + 17% Superannuation (pro rata, part time)About the role:The Project Officer, Indigenous Health is responsible for supporting the Indigenous Health academic team to develop the cultural safety of future health professionals and to attract and support First Nations students into the School of Medicine at Deakin University (including First Nations students in Medicine, Optometry and Medical Imaging courses). The role is also responsible for supporting the cultural safety of students, community and partners.In line with special measure provisions in Section 12 of the Victorian Equal Opportunity Act (2010), the University will only be accepting applications for this position from people who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.As a Project Officer, you will:Coach, guide and support team members as needed to deliver against individual, team and University goals and recognise the importance of teamwork and effective communication amongst team members.Role model professional and ethical behaviours.
