In this permanent full-time role, you will be responsible for assisting Diesel Fitters with service and repairs of heavy engineering parts and components.Duties & ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Workshop Supervisor, your main responsibilities will include:Assist trades people conducting repairs of mechanical equipment and parts,Assist with maintaining the workshop and associated equipment in a safe, clean, and tidy condition,Operation of grinders, spray painting equipment and other tools and machinery as required in a safe manner.About YouTo be considered for this position you will ideally have:Sound mechanical aptitude,Ability to operate grinders, spray painting equipment and other tools and machinery safely,Excellent attention to detail,Hands on person who can prioritise workload and work to deadlines,Able to work both independently and as part of a team,Forklift licence (beneficial but not essential),Previous experience working in mining / manufacturing industry (preferred).BenefitsFull-time, permanent positionLocal work be home every night!Long-term job security and the potential for career advancementCompetitive wages including overtime penalty ratesInternal training and opportunities for upskillingIf this role sounds like it would be a good fit for you H-E Parts would love to hear from you! #J-18808-Ljbffr
