The Advisory Committee is a conduit between the AEDA Board and broader city stakeholders to ensure the views of a wide range of industry sectors and businesses are provided to the AEDA Board.As a member of the Advisory Committee, you will represent the views of city businesses within your sector. We are seeking to fill three positions on the Advisory Committee: one term beginning on 22 May 2025, and the other two terms starting on 1 November 2025.A copy of the AEDA Advisory Committee Terms of Reference is available here.Advisory Committee positions are not remunerated.About YouYou will have a passion for all things Adelaide, and will:Have your place of work primarily based in the city.Have well-established professional relationships and networks within your industry.Bring a strategic, solutions-focused mindset, collaborating inclusively and using evidence-based approaches to drive results.Have qualifications related to your sector/services and demonstrated experience.About UsThe Adelaide Economic Development Agency has been established by the City of Adelaide (CoA) as a subsidiary to focus on growing a strong economy for Adelaide.Working closely with businesses, industry groups, state government agencies, and other organisations, AEDA delivers a range of programs designed to stimulate the citys economic growth with a focus on investment attraction, growing our visitor economy, residential growth, marketing the city as a whole, and promoting Rundle Mall as Adelaides premier shopping destination.In accordance with the AEDA Charter, an Advisory Committee is established with the function of enquiring into and reporting to the Agency on any matter within the Agencys functions and powers, including providing a formal mechanism for city businesses, main streets, precincts, and other stakeholders to provide advice to the Board.The Advisory Committee has a representative that sits on the AEDA Board. This expression of interest calls for a Member of the Advisory Committee.
