The Principal Solution Consultant is a core member of the OpenText sales team, working together to identify and develop revenue opportunities within the OpenText customer and prospect base. This will involve analysing complex customer requirements collaborating with the wider OpenText organisation to provide a compelling, unique value proposition to the customer, which leverages one or more OpenText solutions and capabilities.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESWorking closely with Account Executives in the field to communicate OpenText value propositions to the customer/prospects.Applying both technical and business skills to solve problems within an account and subsequently architecting an appropriate technical solution to meet the customers business requirements.Qualifying opportunities at key milestones, taking into consideration the competitive landscape, solution fit, relationship with the customer, etc.Developing and delivering product demonstrations and proof of concepts against specific customer requirements.Responding to RFx requests, taking the lead for the solution and technical elements of the response.Provide oversight on proposals delivered as part of the teams you oversee or manage.Meeting clients on solution consulting engagements.Delivering technology and business level presentations to technical, business and management-level audiences.The ability to work across business units and leverage different technologies and solutions from the wider OpenText portfolio to grow and enhance opportunities.Proactively identify and support areas of solutions consultants growth and improvement.Be prepared to challenge the status quo to support better customer outcomes.Serve as the technical expert during the sales process, understanding client needs and demonstrating how our DevOps solutions can address those needs.Lead discovery sessions and workshops with prospective clients to understand their current DevOps maturity, pain points, and business goals.Design and architect DevOps solutions that align with client objectives, leveraging our product suite and third-party tools where necessary.Deliver product demonstrations, POCs (Proof of Concepts), and hands-on technical workshops that showcase the value of DevOps tools and processes.Collaborate with account executives and sales teams to develop and refine sales strategies, ensuring the technical solution is compelling and accurate.SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSThe Principal Solution Consultant must have a minimum ten (10) years experience in presales Enterprise sales with a minimum fifteen (15) years Enterprise Software solutions experience in either a presales or consulting role.Be knowledgeable of a wide range of technologies and platforms across core technology and end user business applications.Proven experience with tools like Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, or similar technologies.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure automation (CI/CD, IaC).Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, software development life cycles, and modern software engineering practices.Experience working in complex, enterprise-level environments with a consultative sales approach.Specific Domain KnowledgeDeeply understand the latest DevOps practices, automation, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).Architect and customise DevOps solutions that fit the unique needs of different industries and clients.Design integrated workflows to enable continuous integration and delivery, monitoring, and deployment pipelines in complex environments.Provide guidance on best practices for version control, configuration management, testing, and release automation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
