This global organisation now has a great opportunity in their events led team.About the opportunityThis is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to expand their experience in event travel logistics and meetings. This challenging role is deadline-driven and fast-paced, so we are looking for an experienced event professional who is agile and solutions-focused.Duties includeManage all administration including invoice processing, budget tracking, meeting agendas, and project plans.Manage the meeting compliance process to ensure events are delivered on time.Create incentive itineraries for a varied client base.Manage all stakeholders and keep them updated on the progress of the event.End-to-end budget control and negotiation, contract negotiation and management.Management of third-party suppliers, agencies, and all internal product areas.You will needProven experience in the travel and/or events industry.Experience of working in a groups and/or events team preferred but not essential.GDS experience is essential - Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.Excellent airfare and ticketing knowledge including Published, Net, Group, and Consolidator fares - only candidates with this knowledge will be considered.Good knowledge of Australian and overseas suppliers and destinations.Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.Experience working as part of a global team.The ability to work on multiple events at the same time.A salary of up to $85k plus super and a hybrid work environment of 3 days office-based and 2 days at home.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionSales and Customer ServiceIndustriesTravel Arrangements and Events ServicesReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at The Placement Collective by 2x. #J-18808-Ljbffr
