We deliver strategic programs and services that unite our organization.Following are specific responsibilities for the role:Engage practice office representatives to determine security design.Assess existing solutions, if present, and determine if integration is practical.Refine existing documentation or create documentation to depict current environment.Recommend right sized firewall appliances if replacement is required or in a greenfield environment.Recommend augmentation of existing solutions, if practical, in order to scale.Recommend and coordinate replacement of existing solutions. This may include migration to a different platform, i.e. Check Point to Palo Alto.Document installation, augmentation, migration or integration plans.Provide virtual hands-on support to execute the plans.Provide visibility and insight to assist our member firms with firewall activity and usage information.Follow through with firm and vendor resources to address issues regarding availability, performance, and security incidents.Communicate and work with internal network teams and peers in different time zones and countries.Accountable for execution according to established standards, procedures, and processes.Report, pursue, communicate, and when needed escalate any breaches in information security or policies.About the teamDeloitte Technology works at the forefront of technology development and processes to support and protect Deloitte around the world. In this truly global environment, we operate not in ''what is'' but rather ''what can be'' to help Deloitte deliver and connect with its clients, its communities, and one another in ways not previously conceived.Enough about us, lets talk about you.You are someone with:Bachelors Degree/College Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent industry experience.Demonstrated experience with both Palo Alto and Check Point firewall infrastructure and policy configuration.Experience with Palo Alto solutions including Panorama, Strata Cloud Manager (SCM), Prisma Access, PA SDWAN & ION.Experience managing firewall Next Gen features like URL Filtering, IPS, & SSL Inspection.Awareness of related policies and standards; demonstrates ability to apply established processes, activities and techniques.Understanding of the tools and resources available to execute the processes, activities and techniques.Knowledge of reporting and analysis, and experience using reporting tools to collect data and to provide output with in depth analysis.A mastery of IT Governance concepts and ability to ask appropriate questions to adhere to governance.Understanding of how governance has been implemented within the SOC and has the knowledge to be a point of escalation.Experience utilizing and understanding the capabilities of performance management tools with experience creating test criteria, and validating performance tests.Proven track record of communicating effectively with stakeholders and team members regarding technical concepts.Why Deloitte?At Deloitte, we focus our energy on interesting and impactful work.
