We are a growing function within the company that specializes in Quarry Automation systems, using Copa-data Zenon software. We are seeking a talented individual who can bring their skills and knowledge to our team and help us continue to provide top-notch automation solutions to our clients.As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation systems for our internal customers in the quarry industry. You will work with a team of talented engineers to ensure that our solutions are efficient, effective, and meet the needs of our customers.The ideal candidate will have:At least 3 years of experience in Automation Engineering, with experience in Quarry Automation systems highly desirableStrong knowledge of PLC programming software (Zenon highly desirable, Studio 5000 or similar minimum)Strong knowledge of SCADA programming software (Zenon highly desirable, Citect or similar minimum)Ability to adapt and quickly learn Copa-data Zenon Supervisor and Zenon Logic utilizing structured text programming.Experience in design, programming, and testing of automation systems (FAT and SAT)Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issuesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsThe ability to travel within AustraliaAbility to work independently and be managed face-to-face and remotelySound understanding of safety, both electrical and machine safety as well as general risk management process on industrial sites.What we offer:Company provided PPE and uniformCompany provided Tools for Trade vehicleBe part of highly recognised global brand name and growing organisationOngoing career and development opportunitiesWe offer a competitive salary, flexible working hours, and a supportive and collaborative team environment.
