We also believe all roles are genuinely flexible at IFM - so we are happy to talk through what this might look like for you.The RoleAs an experienced Buy-Side Equities Dealer based in Sydney, you will be responsible for performing the dealing function for the IFM Investors Large Cap Equities fund. This role involves producing and running the team''s morning meeting, creating end-of-day reports, monitoring stock flows, and communicating key information to analysts and portfolio managers. You will ensure mandate compliance, manage portfolio administration, and introduce automation to eliminate manual processes.Key Responsibilities:Perform the dealing function for the IFM Investors Large Cap Equities Fund.Ensure no mandate breaches, failed trades, or other trading or settlement issues.Achieve best execution by minimising opportunity cost and market impact.Contribute to information flow and add alpha to the portfolio.Appropriately allocate brokerage across broking relationships and participate in panel reviews.Assist with business development activities by providing dealing statistics and insights for client reports and reviews.Work with the Small Caps dealer on IFM wider initiatives and projects.Your Background and Experience2+ years'' experience in a buy-side dealing role (sell-side experience also relevant).Essential experience with Bloomberg (knowledge of other trading platforms helpful).Existing relationships with major broking houses.Ability to manage trades in large lines of illiquid stock.Helpful experience with systems such as Aladdin & Virtu.Tertiary qualifications in commerce, economics, finance, or related field (post-graduate qualifications and SIA/CFA qualifications may be included).Strong background knowledge of ASX companies and ability to provide insights on price movements.Ready to invest in what matters?With IFM, that includes your own career.
