We are recruiting an experienced Site Supervisor (Contracts Coordinator), to join our business in what is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in Australias Defence environment and support national security requirements of the Nation.The OpportunityReporting to the Regional Operations and Maintenance superintendent, the Site Supervisor (Contracts Coordinator) will work with the Tank Superintendent to ensure timely and effective delivery of inspection and maintenance program, in-line with Maintenance & Asset Management scopes.A state-based role whereby your experience as a Project Engineer or Project Supervisor will help you deliver a full program of works.Key responsibilities:Responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of project and maintenance services to ensure delivery of DFI fuel operations, and fuel quality.Planning, coordinating, and reporting on all onsite Maintenance activities across Defence sites.Demonstrate strong financial awareness of thorough management of Contractors, Labour and non-labour costs.Setting up work site in accordance with maintenance engineering plans and safety plans barricading, safe vehicle movements etc.Liaising with suppliers, contractors, defence personnel, supervisors, and superintendents.Overseeing daily functions of work site including weekend and out of hours work if required.Preparing, supporting, checking, and submitting site documentation for permits and other required procedures.Working with supervisors, contractors, and workers to ensure safety compliance to UGL and Defence HSSE requirements. Includes the creation of a safe working environment for each major maintenance activity.Monitor, document and gain approvals for variations to approved scope.Technical - Interpret maintenance plans, drawings, specifications, and designs.Assisting in the development of maintenance methodologies and safety documentation.Overseeing the delivery of materials and equipment and associated assurance activities.Preparing estimates for maintenance costs.Monitoring and setting standards for maintenance execution quality assurance.Monitoring maintenance schedule progress.Managing the maintenance activities within budget and time constraints.Ideal attributes:The following Ideal attributes are highly desired, but if you do not tick all the boxes, you could still be a great fit.
