Your day-to-day responsibilities will include delivering accurate management reporting and providing detailed analysis. You will be tasked with identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency. Additionally, you will create financial models to simulate various business scenarios, contributing significantly to the organisation''s strategic planning. Your expertise in compliance and risk management will ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal policies.Prepare accurate and timely financial reportsAssess the financial health of the organisation by analysing key financial metricsIdentify patterns and trends in financial data over timeCompare actual financial performance against budgeted or forecast figuresEvaluate the profitability of different business units, products, or servicesIdentify and assess financial risks, such as market risk, credit risk and operational riskIdentify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce expenses without compromising quality or performanceCreate financial models to simulate different business scenarios and their potential impact on the organisations financial performanceWhat you bring:The ideal candidate for this Financial Analyst position brings a wealth of experience in financial modelling and analytical reporting. You have worked with charge-back/cost-recovery/show-back models and are adept at preparing, monitoring, and reporting annual and project budgets. Your proficiency in using budgeting tools, planning tools, Microsoft Office applications, along with your knowledge of management accounting methodologies sets you apart. Experience with BI applications, preferably PowerBI, is highly desirable.Experience in financial modelling and analytical reportingExperience working with charge-back/cost-recovery/show-back modelsExperience in preparing, monitoring and reporting of annual and project budgetsKnowledge and experience using budgeting and planning tools, and Microsoft Office applicationsExperience with budgeting and management reporting processes, including preparation of internal management reportsKnowledge of management accounting methodologiesExperience with BI applications, preferably PowerBIWhat sets this company apart:Our client is a leading player in their industry with a reputation for excellence.
