As the Operations Manager at Liquidia, you will play a key role in managing the daily transport port allocations of AdBlue to customers across our three sites: Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane. You will oversee the hands-on operations of our manufacturing facility located in Fairfield East, NSW. In this full-time role, your primary responsibility will be to supervise the full-time transport allocator to ensure that monthly AdBlue allocations to clients are delivered promptly and professionally. You will guarantee the seamless execution of production processes, actively pursue continuous improvement, and lead a skilled team to produce VDA Certified AdBlue. Additionally, you will work with Excel spreadsheets, perform cost analyses, and engage in sales interactions to secure new business.Your Hands-On ResponsibilitiesManage and supervise all manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, and quality control.Implement and monitor lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and productivity.Continuously assess and optimise production processes through active involvement to meet or exceed targets for cost, quality, and delivery.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational challenges with practical solutions.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations through active participation and oversight.Contribute to the formulation and execution of the company''s strategic objectives through hands-on engagement.Be prepared to operate a forklift and assist directly when needed.Conduct phone conversations to strengthen customer relationships and secure new business opportunities.What We Are SeekingExtensive experience (5+ years) in a similar transport allocations/operations management role, customer service and new sales, preferably within the manufacturing sector.Proven ability to lead and motivate teams toward operational excellence through direct involvement.Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives.Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills in practical situations.Proficient in utilizing data-driven approaches to enhance operational performance through tangible applications.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a hands-on manner.Relevant experience or knowledge of the construction/industrial industry, including direct use of power tools, operations management, or a related field.What We OfferAt Liquidia, we are committed to providing a supportive and fulfilling work environment for our employees.
