CWM is a locally based business providing mechanical maintenance services across multiple industries, including mining, food processing and heavy industry.We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated onsite mechanical tradesperson to join our team, overseeing maintenance duties and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our customers'' assets.About the RolePerform routine preventative maintenance to a high level of detail.Attend breakdowns, troubleshoot faults, and identify root causes urgently.Report job findings and maintenance updates to the site supervisor.Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose failures.Assist with and undertake specific project work as required.Contribute to procedure improvements for better efficiency and safety.Work on both small and large-scale construction projects.Must be able to work shifts rosters, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.Willingness to work away from home both within N.S.W and out of state.What We Are Looking ForTrade-qualified fitter or welder (experience in mining or heavy industry preferred).Current manual Australian Drivers Licence.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.A strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude.Ability to assess risks and implement effective controls for on-the-job risk assessments.Capable of working autonomously while maintaining high standards.Seniority LevelEntry levelEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionManagement and Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
