Everything we do is dedicated to enabling, celebrating and supporting older Australians to live and age positively.The Home and Location:Centaur is a 94 Bed Residential Aged Care Home located in Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast.The RoleAs a Personal Care Worker, you will provide assistance to our residents ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their wellbeing, independence, interests and choices. These include:Assistance with residence mobility needs, including manual handling.Assistance at mealtimes as required by the resident such as food and drink preparation and feeding if required.Encouraging engagement in various social activities.Assistance with personal care needs, maintaining hygiene, toileting and personal care such as dressing, grooming and oral care.To be successful in this role we require you to have the following skills, experience & attributes:Experience in aged care role highly regarded.Understanding of person-centred care.Strong, clear verbal and written English skills.Collaborative approach to teamwork.Willingness to take direction and follow instructions/compliance.A confident, friendly and professional approach to team and residents.Compliance requirements:Certificate III Individual Support or similar with the relevant aged care units completed.Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc).Willingness to complete a police check.Current 2025 Flu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain).Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination (minimum of 1 dose).Generous salary packaging and not-for-profit tax benefits claim up to $15,900 tax free plus additional $2,650 in entertainment per year.Management and clinical support at all times.Buddy programs to set you up for success within specific homes.Career progression and leadership development opportunities via continuous internal training.We provide a work culture that values diversity and inclusion.An Employee Assistance Program for staff and family.Free annual flu shots.Opportunities to transfer if relocating.Apply nowOur application process takes less than 10 minutes.
