There are many different ways you can fundraise with The Orangutan Project. How you volunteer is up to you.Our volunteers contribute in three main ways:Organising fundraising stalls at local markets, community festivals or exposOrganising fundraising events such as a trivia night, movie night or wine tastingAssisting at stalls and events organised by other volunteersYou choose which way you want to help! There will be support, training and guidance from our staff and other experienced volunteers. Depending on your interests and role, we can also provide training in event coordination and team management.Time requiredVolunteers can be involved as little or as much as they would like. We ask that each volunteer commit to managing or attending one event or stall per month.ReimbursementSome volunteers will be reimbursed for event and market costs according to our Reimbursement Policy.RequirementsWorking with Children CheckIf your volunteering involves working in schools, you will need to provide a current Working with Children Check.
