Job Description:POSITION SUMMARYCertified and Licensed in both Perma-Liner installation and Plumbing, the Technician, Pipelining & Plumbing Install is a project-specific role responsible for providing full-service pipelining and plumbing removal and installation.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFollow safety rules and exercise safe work practice.Provide effective communication between customers and Wind River Environmental.Construction Duties:Sawcut interior of unit.Jackhammer interior of unit.Hand dig the exterior sanitary line.Drywall.Plastering.Vinyl siding.Painting.Plumbing Duties:Sanitary line.Boiler removal.Boiler reinstall.Pipelining Duties:Prepares, installs, and cures Perma-Liner product to pipes identified for repair.Protect pipelining product and equipment and keep a well-inventoried truck.Participate actively in all training exercises, team meetings, and safety discussions.Completion and submission of any and all required quote and service paperwork to management.Follow all Wind River Environmental service protocols.Must comply with all FMCSA and DOT regulations if applicable.Must practice safe work methods to remain accident and injury free. Must have the ability to recognize hazards inherent in routine and non-routine tasks and make adjustments to avoid loss, injury or accident.Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate to your job.Other duties as assigned by management.KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIESProven and Certified ability to perform Perma-Liner installation (inversion, main line installation, and Pull-in-Place).Prior experience in plumbing, construction, and drain cleaning.Ability to safely operate construction equipment such as (but not limited to): shovel, pickaxe, jackhammer, wet saw, demo saw.Ability to understand instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.Ability to read and interpret documents including Company policies and procedures, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, maps and road signs.Ability to speak, cooperate and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers and management.Ability to work independently and manage pressure to meet deadlines.Basic computer literacy including email and internet skills.Ability to perform basic math functions.MINIMUM EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONSMust have High School Diploma or Equivalent.Must have previous plumbing experience (5+ years).Must have previous construction and/or drain cleaning experience (1+ years).Perma-Liner Certifications in Inversion, Pull-in-Place, and Main Line Installation is required.4+ years of Perma-Liner installation experience.Must have a valid drivers license.Acceptable driving record.Ability to successfully pass all pre-employment screenings and background checks as determined by position.Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.KEY RELATIONSHIPSWind River Operations Management.Wind River Operations Personnel.Wind River Environmental Customers.Dispatch.ACKNOWLEDGEMENTI understand the statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees, and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required of personnel so classified.
