Position: Data and Telecommunications Cable InstallerLocation: Bunbury and SouthwestEmployment Basis: Full-timePay rate: Negotiable based on experienceStart Date: ImmediateAbout our client:Better Telco Solutions Pty Ltd, a prominent provider of data, telecommunications and security solutions in Bunbury and the Southwest region, is seeking a skilled and experienced Telecoms and Data Cabler to join their team in a full-time capacity.This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organisation and work on a variety of projects spanning domestic, commercial and industrial sectors.Role overview:The successful candidate will be responsible for the professional installation, meticulous maintenance and efficient repair of telecommunications, data and security systems.Key responsibilities will include:Conduct comprehensive site assessments and accurately interpreting technical drawings to determine optimal cabling and equipment placement.Diagnose and resolve complex telecommunications system faults utilising specialised testing equipment such as OTDR & LS/PM testers.Install, secure and terminate cabling in strict adherence to industry standards and safety regulations.Perform detailed repairs and replacements of faulty components, ensuring thorough equipment testing and functionality.Install and configure cabling for diverse communication systems, encompassing telephony and data networks.Execute precise cable jointing and sealing procedures to safeguard against environmental factors.Install and configure telecommunications devices, including telephones, wireless access points and routers.Essential qualifications and skills:Minimum: Cert III in Telecommunications or equivalent in a relevant field, accompanied by a minimum of two years of practical experience in telecommunications or data cabling.Demonstrated proficiency in telecommunications cabling with essential experience in optic fiber installations.Proven ability to interpret technical plans and diagrams with accuracy.Expertise in utilising diagnostic and testing tools to effectively identify and resolve technical issues.Exceptional attention to detail and unwavering adherence to industry safety protocols.Valid eligibility to work in Australia (Australian citizenship or permanent residency).What''s in it for you:Competitive salary package commensurate with experience.Opportunity to engage in diverse and challenging projects.Commitment to ethical practices and ongoing professional development.How to apply:If you have the required skill set, qualifications and experience, we encourage you to apply today!!!General enquiries are welcome.
