Job Description - E&I QAQC Inspector (263598)E&I QAQC Inspector - 263598About the role:UGL are seeking an experienced E&I QAQC Inspector to join our team on an ongoing basis working on a major Oil & Gas project.Commencing ASAP, you will be working a 5/2 roster within Perth CBD, point of hire is Perth, WA. You will then transition into a site-based role in August 2025.Key Responsibilities:Provide quality education, advice, and assurance across the project team.Collaborate during the pre-mobilization phase to define quality inputs (e.g., workpacks, job cards).Coordinate quality control systems and identify required improvements.Develop and review project quality performance, ensuring compliance and effectiveness.Implement quality performance measurements against benchmarks.Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.Manage and schedule quality activities as per inspection plans.Facilitate quality education sessions for the project team.Address quality challenges and report any issues impacting project outcomes.Ensure timely submission of quality reports with trend analysis and mitigation strategies.Ensure project team adherence to quality obligations.Review and provide input on upcoming scopes of work to ensure quality delivery.About you:Proven experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within a construction or project environment.Electrical background.Commissioning and systems completion experience.Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.Proficiency in project management software and tools.High level proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and Excel including complex data manipulation and analysis.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and industry best practices.What we offer:Permanent position on an ongoing 5/2 and 2/2 Roster.Competitive remuneration package.Pathways for you to succeed and the space for you to carve your own journey.A culture that values diversity and innovation, evolving with market changes and new technologies.What makes you right for UGL:Genuine concern for safety.Ability to provide a safe, supportive and positive workplace.Capacity to flourish in a high-performance environment.An innovative mindset and a willingness to challenge the norm.A belief that success and value are driven by real teams where everyone has a role to play.About Us:UGL is well-known and respected for providing end-to-end engineering, construction and maintenance services within rail and transport, communications and technology systems, oil and gas, power, renewables and resources, water and defence markets.
