This role leads the design, delivery, and evaluation of the DeakinTALENT Embedded Career Education program, collaborating with subject matter experts and teaching teams. The Operations Lead will oversee stakeholder engagement, including leading the Graduate Employability Action Learning Group (GE-ALG) and internal communications. The role will also involve managing and mentoring a team to provide strategic and operational support to the Director, Graduate Employability.As an Operations Lead, Graduate Employability you will:Provide high-level strategic and operational support to the Director, Graduate Employability.Provide leadership on key Graduate Employability programs, including the Embedded Career Education Program and the Graduate Employability Action Learning Group.Establish systems and procedures to guide work, track progress and continually evaluate progress to ensure program goals are achieved.Design and develop engaging, accessible and inclusive assessment tasks, learning materials and activities in collaboration with subject matter experts and teaching teams.Provide leadership, support and specialist advice on learning environments and educational technologies to colleagues and teaching teams, including process documentation, exemplars and technical support.Identify, define and develop stakeholder engagement strategies, plans and opportunities to support the Graduate Employability community.Coordinate, write, produce and disseminate strategic Graduate Employability communications collateral and design assets for various communication channels.Collaborate with other Academic Portfolio teams and cross functional team members, acting as a liaison between technical teams and key stakeholders to ensure alignment on programs, goals and timelines.To be successful, youll have:Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; orExtensive experience and management expertise; orAn equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.Experience in developing and managing teaching and learning programs and initiatives to support students within higher education, alongside managing multiple stakeholders and working collaboratively across a complex organisation.Excellent record of scholarly learning and teaching practice in UG and/or PG programs, including expertise in innovative, accessible learning design.An excellent understanding of the university environment and experience developing and implementing strategic stakeholder communication plans.Experience managing a team of staff to consistently deliver quality teaching and learning outcomes for Faculty teaching teams.Here''s how to apply:Please submit your updated resume along with a brief cover letter outlining your relevant skills and experience by clicking the ''Apply'' button.For a confidential discussion regarding this role, please contact Associate Professor Lauren Hansen (Director, Graduate Employability) on lauren.hansen@deakin.edu.au.For a copy of the position description, please see below:Applications for this position close on 27 April 2025Are You Ready?Deakin is a Victorian university with a global impact.
