Were currently seeking a Finance Analyst to join our team on a temporary basis for a two-month assignment, starting immediately in Cairns.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.Reporting: Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the development of annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with department heads.Financial Modelling: Create and maintain models to assist with business planning and strategic initiatives.Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs to evaluate business performance and identify areas for financial optimisation.Ad-Hoc Support: Deliver timely financial insights and reporting for senior management as required.Market Insight: Research and provide relevant industry and economic insights to support planning and forecasting.Transaction Oversight: Review financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.Process Improvement: Identify and contribute to enhancements in financial processes and systems.About YouBachelors Degree in Accounting or FinanceSkills & Experience:Proven experience in financial analysis and/or management accountingStrong MS Excel skills; proficient with Word, PowerPoint, and OutlookKnowledge of Power BI is highly desirableExperience with aviation accounts is an advantagePersonal Attributes:Team-oriented with strong communication skillsTrustworthy, flexible, and demonstrates sound work ethicsAble to prioritise and manage time effectivelyHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailAbout UsWith offices in Cairns and Townsville, Precruitment is Regional Queensland''s leading recruitment consultancy, specializing in permanent and temporary roles.
