Groote Eylandt is home to the Anindilyakwa people, who are the traditional owners of the land and have been working alongside GEMCO since 1963WHAT SOUTH32 OFFERS26 weeks full-paid, or 52 weeks half-paid parental leave for primary carers.The opportunity to become a shareholder of South32 through our share plans.Options for additional superannuation contributions.Ability to purchase up to 4 weeks of additional annual leave.ABOUT THE ROLEThis role is a Permanent full-time position on a 7:7 roster, FIFO from Darwin, or Cairns to Groote Eylandt. As the Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring maintenance activities are accurately planned and scheduled to optimise equipment availability, safety, and operational continuity.Other key responsibilities include, but arent limited to:Facilitate prioritisation and planning meetings with key stakeholdersIssue accurate schedules & forecasts in alignment with business needsReview & improve master data and work management processesCoordinate materials & approvals to enable timely job executionReview tasks in the field to ensure alignment with plans and identify required changesABOUT YOUYou will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:Planning and scheduling maintenance within mining or heavy industryCommunicating clearly with a range of technical and operational stakeholdersManaging priorities in a deadline-driven, dynamic environmentApplying structured work planning and defect elimination processesConfident on Microsoft Office and SAP (1SAP) to support maintenance planningQualifications for this position are:Trade or Tertiary Qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation or related fieldValid C Class Drivers LicenceSouth32 is committed to building and maintaining an inclusive and diverse workforce that reflects the communities in which we operate.
