Perpetual is looking for a Facilities Coordinator to deliver superior building support services, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.About the rolePerpetual is looking for a Facilities Coordinator to deliver top-notch building support services, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Assist the Manager, Facilities with daily operations and manage staff requests for maintenance, air-conditioning, furniture, equipment, keys, locks, Foxtel/AV connections, and more.Provide general facilities maintenance support, such as troubleshooting kitchen appliances, replacing cabinet locks, investigating power issues at desks, programming security cards, and working with our handyman on tasks like changing light bulbs and hanging pictures.Assist with managing and coordinating tradesmen across several locations, ensuring all tasks are performed correctly, efficiently, and effectively.Organise and assist with office relocations, ensuring a smooth transition for all involved.Assist with maintenance schedules, associated administration work, and record-keeping. Conduct regular facility and works inspections, documenting and recording findings.Perform floor walks to monitor cleaning and other WHS requirements. Assist with evaluating the impact of base building maintenance works on our tenancy and notify relevant staff in a timely manner.Assist the Workplace team with building-related matters, such as annual building shutdowns and fire safety tests. Actively participate in emergency response drills.Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating a strong client service ethic.Uphold strict confidentiality as sensitive information may be encountered. Work independently with a proactive, problem-solving attitude.What We''re Looking For:Education: TAFE in a trade (not mandatory).Proven experience in facilities coordination/management in a corporate environment, with a solid understanding of WHS and compliance obligations for office sites, including fire, hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical systems.Special requirements: Availability to work out of hours for maintenance works and building shutdowns, including weekends and on-call duties.
