Australian Plastic Profiles and Pipe King Pty Ltd, a member of the Legrand family, are currently looking for a well-organized and motivated individual to take up the position of Warehouse Supervisor within our Canberra branch based in Queanbeyan, New South Wales.Duties of this role include; but are not limited to:Loading and unloading of all incoming and outgoing goods in/out of the warehousePicking and packing daily ordersEnsure regulatory and legislative compliance for all aspects of goods travelling to various sites in local, regional and interstate areas.Quality assurance and accuracy of receipting and dispatching.Display leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices and safety conscious behaviour.Regular cyclical stock takes.Working with stores team to achieve daily branch requirementsSome heavy lifting involved.To Be Successful For The Role You Must Have:Excellent work ethic.Previous experience in a warehousing role (Team leader/Supervisory experience preferred).Knowledge of the practical management of Workplace Health & Safety (WH&S).A current valid driver''s license and forklift license.12 months minimum forklift experience.Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.High attention to detail.Strong communication skills.Applicants must be punctual, reliable, self-motivated, well organised and able to lead a small team.As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes drug and alcohol testing.Shifts are currently rotational between:Monday to Friday - 6.00am to 2.00pmMonday to Friday - 10.00am to 6.00pm (afternoon shift loading applicable)If you would like to become a member of our friendly team, we will offer you a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity of a full time, Monday to Friday permanent position within a stable growing company that believes in long term relationships.Please email your application to the attention of: Conrad Archbold, National Warehouse, Distribution & Stock Control Manager at conrada@app.net.auSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionManagement and ManufacturingIndustriesPlastics Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
