Their programs are designed to enhance the quality of life and overall well-being of individuals with disabilities and others.Your new roleDSDS are seeking an exceptional leader to join their team as the General Manager. This role involves overseeing DSDS''s financial operations, NDIS services, and other program deliveries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in NDIS sector leadership and not-for-profit management.Key Responsibilities:Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on DSDS programs and services.Manage the NDIS program, ensuring quality service delivery and compliance with NDIS standards.Identify and pursue funding opportunities for organisational growth.Develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems for organisational effectiveness.Ensure compliance with internal procedures, contractual requirements, and relevant legislation.Lead, supervise, and support staff to foster a positive workplace culture.Represent DSDS in external forums, meetings, and community events.Report to the Board of Management on operational matters and performance.What you''ll need to succeedTertiary qualifications in Business, Management, or a related field, or significant relevant experience.Strong leadership and people management skills.Extensive experience in financial management, operational oversight, and risk management.Exceptional representational skills and experience in building networks and relationships.High-level strategic thinking and analytical skills.Demonstrated track record in business management, including securing funding and effective contract management.Comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS framework, funding model, and compliance standards.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Current SAFE NT Working with Children Ochre Card, Police Clearance, and Driver''s Licence.What you''ll get in returnAt DSDS, you will be part of a passionate team committed to making a real difference in the community.
