This is an exciting role where you''ll drive impactful projects, champion design excellence, and mentor our talented team.Collaborating closely with other Directors and Associate Directors, this position offers a unique opportunity to enhance and expand our already thriving Design Studio at Urbis.To excel in this role, you''ll be a visionary design leader with a strong market presence and the ability to win work. Your strategic mindset, creative excellence, and commercial acumen will drive the growth and impact of our Sydney Landscape Architecture offering. Leading with innovation and influence, you''ll inspire teams, shape bold ideas, and turn vision into reality.You will:Lead the pursuit of new projects across Government and private sector ClientsLead and prepare winning proposals, tenders, and submissions for potential new projects across (insert types here i.e. New Communities, Infrastructure, Public Domain and/or Strategic Landscape Studies)Bring and further build strategic relationships to add to the continued growth of our design practice in the New South Wales market.Nurture and develop individual staff members through effective coaching and mentoring, fostering a culture of collaboration, design quality, and excellence in landscape design that reflects the Urbis brand.Support the delivery of strategic projects and national initiatives, while proactively identifying opportunities to engage and work collaboratively with colleagues from other business units to develop whole-of-firm'' service offerings.Actively maintain and build trusted relationships with internal and external clients, key partners, stakeholders, and industry peers, identifying and generating new work to ensure sustained, profitable business performance.Achieve revenue targets through strong service delivery and project management, assisting with forecasting, project budgeting, risk, and financial management.Contribute to the management of the financial and commercial requirements of the Business Unit, including negotiating fee and sub-contractor arrangements, and demonstrating strong practice management skills.About you:Tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline.Relevant experience, ideally gained in a consultancy environment.Proven ability to lead, manage and grow a team.Proven track record of building new clients and business in the local market.Proven track record of delivering high quality Award winning Built Landscape and Public Domain Projects.Why Urbis?Urbis is committed to fostering an inclusive, flexible, and diverse work environment.
