As a key member of our dedicated Defence team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing critical projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and compliance with required standards. You will work in close partnership with internal and external stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes. This position is based in Perth, Western Australia, and requires the ability to hold and maintain at least a Baseline Security Clearance.Responsibilities include:All phases of the project lifecycle from initiation, execution and project closureEnsure procurement activities align with Commonwealth Procurement Rules.Foster positive stakeholder relationships through regular interactions.Manage project information in compliance with Defence and APP standards.Deliver projects within or under budget and reduce program durations.Prioritize and close out Handover Takeover (HOTO) promptly.Capture lessons learned and innovations for continuous improvement.About you:Bachelor''s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management); postgraduate degree preferred.MUST hold and maintain a minimum-security clearance at baseline level.Proven experience in senior leadership roles overseeing complex programs or projects, preferably within the government or public sector.Demonstrated expertise in consultancy, program management, and project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile) with a successful track record of delivering large-scale initiatives on time and within budget.Strong understanding of government procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders at all levels.A rewarding careerStrive forward with purpose.
