Job Description

The Senior People Partner will be the primary contact and escalation point for complex people issues within their assigned project groups and collaborate closely with Executive Leaders in the project group. In this role, you will build trusted influential relationships, offering expert advice and guidance to support informed decision-making, drive people initiatives, and address challenges. By focusing on early intervention and resolution, the Senior People Partner will stay informed about updates to employment legislation that affect P&C operations and provide guidance to People and Capability team members.Key aspects of the role include:Offering expert guidance and strategic coaching to People Partners and Executive Leaders on complex and sensitive employee matters, ensuring compliance with the Victorian Public Service Enterprise Agreement.Supporting various strategic and operational P&C initiatives in alignment with the People and Capability Roadmap.We are looking for:Extensive experience in managing a wide range of P&C issues, with specialised expertise in workplace relations, including performance management, misconduct, grievances, investigations, change management, and dispute resolution.Demonstrated ability to effectively manage complex people issues and translate employment frameworks, policies, and procedures into practical solutions.Bachelor (or higher) qualification in Human Resources and/or related discipline or extensive relevant experience is mandatory.Applications close at 11:59 PM on 21st of April 2025.If you require any adjustment to the recruitment and selection process or need an alternative format to any of the application material, please contact VHBA.recruitment@health.vic.gov.au.VHBA is an equal opportunity employer, committed to fostering a values-led, diverse and inclusive workplace.
