Connect APAC have been exclusively engaged by a leader in the Toy Industry to source a Brand Manager for their Sydney Based team. The successful candidate will report directly into the Head of Marketing and collaborate closely with a dynamic, passionate team to shape product strategies, create innovative marketing campaigns, and drive category growth across both retail and digital channels. The role would be ideal for an existing Brand/Product Manager or even an ambitious Assistant Brand Manager who is keen to make the next step up to a full Brand Manager role.Key Responsibilities:Category Management: Oversee category performance in Australia and New Zealand, analyse market trends, and implement category strategies to grow product sales and optimize profitability.Ranging & Assortment Management: Oversee the product assortment for the toy category, ensuring the right mix of products across both retail and digital channels for selected customers. Develop and implement strategies to optimize product ranges in line with consumer demand and sales targets.Pricing & Profitability: Manage pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness while maintaining profitability. Continuously monitor product performance and adjust pricing as needed to maximize margin.POS/Merchandise Request & Forecasting: Approve and manage point-of-sale (POS) and merchandising requests, ensuring alignment with overall product and marketing strategies. Oversee POS/merchandise forecasting and SKU management to optimize stock levels.Sales & Inventory Forecasting: Work closely with the sales and supply chain teams to develop accurate sales and inventory forecasts. Regularly review and adjust forecasts to meet demand while minimizing stockouts or overstock situations.Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of products, effective negotiation of costs, and adherence to quality standards.Promotional Strategy Development & Analysis: Develop, implement, and analyse promotional strategies that drive product sales, align with marketing goals, and support the overall business objectives.Retail & Digital Marketing: Assist in developing and executing integrated marketing plans for both retail and digital environments.
