Learn more about The College here.About the OpportunityAre you a strategic leader with a passion for business growth?Western Sydney University, The College is seeking a Director, Business Development to join the team and shape the future of The Colleges business to business (B2B) product offerings.As the Director of Business Development, youll identify and drive transformative business development opportunities, of at least $5-6 million annually to offset existing expiring contracts. Youll provide valuable market intelligence insights to develop and enhance product offerings, ensure our products align to the capabilities required for modern workplace success (B2B) and career success (B2C). Additionally, the Director will collaborate with ecosystem partners, industry and professional associations, and our growing client base to cultivate positive business relationships.This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity for 5 years based at The Colleges Sydney Olympic Park and Parramatta CBD Campus, although travel to other campuses may be required.About YouYou are a strategic leader with a passion for business growth and a proven track record in B2B sales. With a relevant tertiary qualification and over 10 years of experience, you excel in identifying and selling through channel partners and reseller networks. Your ability to recognise and capitalise on commercial opportunities, coupled with your understanding of industry and corporate sectors related to professional development and learning, sets you apart. You have successfully devised and delivered business strategies and commercial negotiations, demonstrating your ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes. Your strong communication skills enable you to share ideas clearly and confidently with various audiences. As an innovative and collaborative thinker, you generate ideas that meet client needs and deliver high financial ROI.
