Our Risk Partner business is managed through the relevant agency structures.Key ResponsibilitiesWork with the business experts to define, measure and analyse business problemsConduct thorough analysis of existing systems, processes, and data workflows, identifying areas for optimisation and improvementWork within a squad that will design, develop and implement technical solutions that align with business needs while considering regulatory compliance and industry best practicesConduct comprehensive data analysis, validation, and reporting to support informed decision-making and provide valuable business insightsCollaborate with cross-functional teams such as business leaders and SMEs, Solution Architects, IT teams and Risk & Compliance teams to analyse and understand business requirements, and influence and co-design solutionsOffer technical expertise, guidance, and support to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycleLead and facilitate workshopsCreate and prioritise user stories around requirements, specifications and benefits, and develop and validate business casesParticipate in testing, validation, and quality assurance processes to ensure the robustness and functionality of developed solutionsProduce insights by extracting and analysing financial or/and operations dataPresent findings and recommendations to key stakeholders and maintain effective communication channelsStay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in financial risk management to recommend innovative solutions and enhancementsMaintain knowledge of technical business analysis best practices, standards, and consistency in driving changesAbout youProven track record as an experienced Business Analyst within the insurance industry, specifically focusing on finance transformation, and familiarity with Finance data.Analytical and critical thinking in uncovering root causes at speed and with clarity.Strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma Framework, Business Process Management and other business improvement methodologies, tools and techniquesIntermediate to advanced skills across the MS tech stack; Excel and PowerPoint, slide deck presentation skills, exposure to project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.Understanding of Finance data and databases.Understanding of the software development life cycle.Knowledge of implementation and configuration approaches of enterprise systems such as accounting systems.Self-motivated, customer-centric and enjoy a team environment.Excellent communication skills: ability to consult, negotiate and align expectations.Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting project deadlines.Experience required7+ years experience as a Business Analyst ideally with hands on experience from inception to successful delivery of Finance Transformation initiativesStrong agile mindset, delivering value fast in a continuous and iterative fashionExperience in the capacity of consulting (highly desirable)Insurance domain knowledge an advantage but not necessaryBachelor''s Degree or Diploma in Business, Technology or other related field (Finance, Engineering, Economics, Accounting, etc.)If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, please click Apply!Seniority levelAssociateEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionFinance and AnalystIndustriesInsurance #J-18808-Ljbffr
