The role is centred on developing new relationships and supporting our well-established relationships in selling and supporting world class products into Public Hospitals, Ophthalmic practices, day procedure centres, and others in the Ophthalmic sector. Included in the portfolio are well-known and sought-after brands such as: Teleon, STARR ICL, Corza, John Weiss and more.As a Product Specialist for the Ophthalmic Surgical Team, you would enjoy working with a team of individuals who all possess their own special talents, that like to collaborate within their own team, and with others across the Device Technologies network, to deliver surgeons and patients tailored product solutions for better health outcomes. You will have the benefit of representing a product portfolio that is rapidly evolving in order to bring the latest ophthalmic technology to market - making the role dynamic, interesting and never boring!Key Responsibilities:Achieve sales targets and deliver KPIsConsistently develop and grow the territory through engagement with existing and new customersManage key accounts and targeted customersUnderstand customers objectives, buying criteria and decision making processes to form long standing mutually beneficial partnershipsAttend to customer enquiries and needsDevelop sales strategies and tactics in conjunction with the Sales Manager, ensuring alignment to the approved marketing plan; as well as implementation of these strategies and tacticsSubmit monthly sales reports inclusive of sales forecasting and market intelligence including competitor information by the due dateMaintain accurate customer account records and customer database including customer targetingProvide product information, demonstrations and training to customersComply with all stock keeping requirements per policyComplete all administrative tasks by the due dateAttend exhibitions, conferences and seminars as directedAdditional duties and sales-related activities as required from time to timeAbout you...At Device Technologies, we succeed through our commitment to five key values:Delivering Innovation - We constantly seek new ideas, technologies, and approaches to meet evolving customer needs and market demands.
