Our Liquor Digital team is now seeking a Senior Product Designer to join their growing team. We are currently in the process of rolling out our new Liquorland brand across our website and digital platforms.About the RoleAs a Senior Product Designer, you lead by example to inspire your design team and squad across planning, research, ideation, design and execution. You will deliver a customer-led approach to product design, exploring human problems via journey maps and personas to create wireframes and prototypes through to conducting user testing to validating designs. This includes aligning design output to the Coles Customer Experience Strategy, Business Strategy, and Digital Strategy.As part of this role, you will work closely with product and technology delivery to ensure experiences are desirable, feasible, and viable. You will also be required to support managers to build up the design capability within the Design and Digital Experience team. This includes encouraging a culture of cross collaboration with product and engineering teams, as well as other areas of the business.You will have extensive experience designing for responsive sites, web apps, native apps, and have a deep understanding of Human Interface Guidelines, Material Design, Atomic design.12 month fixed term contractAbout you and your skillsA minimum of 6 years experience as a UX/Product designer or similar, with extensive skills in journey mapping, concept development, wireframe design, UI creation, prototype development, and user testing and facilitation. 1+ year as a senior product designer or equivalent level.2+ years experience supporting digital channels for large, complex organisations requiring stakeholder management.2+ years experience in project leadership or team mentoring.Extensive experience designing for responsive sites, web apps, and a deep understanding of Atomic design. Experience with Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design is not essential, but considered an asset.Ability to effectively collaborate with engineers that utilise react-js, storybook by leveraging your understanding of HTML/CSS, REST APIs. Native app development technologies such as swift for iOS & Java for Android is valued, though not mandatory.Ability to create rapid, low-fi through to high-fi prototypes and iterate.Experience communicating and rationalizing design decisions alongside feasibility.A demonstrated capability in creating wireframes, UI and interactive prototypes; & providing developers a clear picture of what we are looking to create.Skilled in translating business process and customer behaviours/insights into design concepts.Experience working in a digital-first organisation with a strong customer-centric focus.Highly collaborative style, able to engage with a diverse range of stakeholder to meet targets.Previous experience in a Retail and Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment considered favorable.Demonstrated experience in Human Centred Design.Tertiary degree relating to Visual Design, User Experience Design or Human Centred Design.Working knowledge of the tools of the trade.
