Technical Sales/Product Specialist (Assistive Technology)Mobility Plus is an Australian leader in the development, design, manufacture and distribution of Mobility Equipment.Our CompanyMobility Plus is a leading Australian Manufacturer of custom manual wheelchairs. For over 40 years, Mobility Plus has been manufacturing Australian Made wheelchairs right here in Melbourne. We are also a national provider of Assistive Technology with divisions in power assist, recreational devices, paediatric equipment, vehicle solutions and manual handling equipment.The OpportunityWe are seeking someone with enthusiasm and initiative to join our Technical Sales Team. The primary purpose of this full-time position is to engage existing and potential clients, therapists, family members and carers to our full portfolio of products and solutions, including our custom wheelchairs. Full support and product training is available however the role would be well suited to someone with either relevant professional or lived experience.This is a fantastic opportunity to not only work within a really rewarding industry but for a really unique small business. We are driven by the needs of our clients and it is this approach that has been integral to the success of Mobility Plus and its place within the industry for over 40 years.The RoleThe role includes internal work duties based at our Fairfield location and external appointments (largely at clients homes). You will have great independence and autonomy balanced with the support of a team environment, including the resources and expertise of our manufacturing facility.Duties include:Completing trials and demonstrations of assistive technology productsWorking and communicating with therapists, clients, carers and family members to find the best solutionsProviding education regarding safe use of equipmentCompleting quotations and background research where necessaryProactive follow up of sales and networkingGenerating new sales leads through various avenues (ie.
