The position ensures effective revenue management, cash flow streamlining, and adherence to quality assurance standards, in full compliance with NSW Ministry of Health and WSLHD policies.Key responsibilities include maximising revenue by conducting comprehensive assessments of all Emergency Department presentations, planned admissions, and direct ward admissions to accurately determine their classification. This includes identifying and processing Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA), Department of Veterans'' Affairs (DVA) claims, workers'' compensation cases, Medicare-ineligible overseas visitors, Defence Force serving members, and other relevant classifications.Selection Criteria:Demonstrated experience in a customer-focused environment, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships while promoting services effectively.Strong ability to assess complex issues, develop sound solutions, and implement effective problem-solving strategies in a high-pressure healthcare setting.Capacity to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve operational and financial objectives.Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts professionally and maintain positive stakeholder engagement.Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, with an understanding of NSW Health information systems for billing and patient administration, ensuring accurate data management and compliance.Willingness and availability to work morning and afternoon shifts as part of a 7-day roster, ensuring continuous support and operational coverage across multiple facilities.Proven ability to lead change initiatives, implement new systems and processes, and provide training and support to ensure smooth transitions and operational improvements.Ability to interpret, apply, and ensure adherence to NSW Health policies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and contributing to best practices in patient revenue management.How to Apply:To apply for the position of Multi Facility Patient Liaison Officer, please submit your application online.
