The small, close-knit team are dedicated, welcoming and committed to making a genuine impact.THE ROLEA great opportunity for an experienced and self-sufficient Bookkeeper whos looking for part-time flexibility in a meaningful setting. Based on site at Merrylands, the successful candidate will work closely with the Director, and be comfortable working in a lively environment (with the occasional friendly interruption from little ones).Key responsibilities:Payroll processing for a small team (using MYOB)Bank and credit card reconciliationsMonth-end reportingAccounts Payable and ReceivableMonthly BAS lodgementCCS and Start Strong subsidy administration and reconciliationsManaging general ledger and online bankingSuperannuation and leave calculationsAnnual financial reports and support for auditorsPetty cash and insurance adminLiaising with external stakeholders including auditors, committee members and familiesTHE CANDIDATEThe ideal candidate will be a confident Bookkeeper who enjoys being part of a small team. Youll need:MYOB experience essentialExperience in a Not-for-Profit or childcare setting highly regardedPayroll and BAS experienceGood knowledge of ExcelStrong communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to work independently and manage prioritiesWorking With Children Check requiredExperience with CCS or NDIS/subsidy-based funding models would be a big plus!THE BENEFITS12-month Fixed Term Contract with a view to continue on1 full day or 2 shorter days ideally Fri/Mon or Mon/TuesPotential for a 1-day paid trial to ensure its a good fit for both parties$45.00 per hourLocated onsite in MerrylandsSupportive and welcoming work cultureA chance to contribute to a service making a real difference in the local communityIn the first instance please submit your application online or call Debbie Hannaford or Keryn Drew on 9891 7400. #J-18808-Ljbffr
