Coordinator Communications and Engagement (Social Media)Apply now Job no: 502493Work type: PermanentLocation: Newstead, TownsvilleCategories: Marketing & CommunicationsAbout the roleMater is currently looking for a Coordinator Communications and Engagement (Social Media) to join our Corporate Affairs team in Brisbane.This full-time role sits within a team of passionate communication, marketing and media professionals, promoting the work of one of Queenslands leading healthcare, education and research organisations.We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative social media specialist who:Will embrace a unique opportunity to redevelop Maters social media framework and drive reach and engagement to a new levelCan create innovative, fun and engaging content for different social media channelsIs self-driven, motivated and across the latest trends on social mediaHas a proven ability to work collaboratively within a broader marketing and communications teamWhat youll be doingAs a Coordinator Communications and Engagement (Social Media), you will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging, creative content that aligns with Maters corporate priorities.You will collaborate with other members of the Corporate Affairs team, and will work at Maters various sites across South East Queensland to create original text, image and video content to amplify Maters presence and drive online audiences.The duties will include:Manage and oversee all social media content in alignment with the corporate strategyGenerate, edit, schedule, publish and share engaging content (e.g. original text, photos, videos, and infographics)Measure the success of social media campaigns and report monthly on outcomesResearch on current benchmark trends and audience preferencesMonitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimisationCommunicate professionally with social media followers, industry professionals and influencers, as requiredAdhere to social media legal protocols, best practices and Maters Social Media PolicyStay up to date with the latest social technologies, design tools, and applicationsAbout youThe successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in communications, marketing or public relations (or relevant experience).
