New graduates are welcome to apply.DutiesPromote healthy outcomes for children and their familiesProvide a comprehensive and focused approach to managing the physical, emotional or social factors affecting families in contemporary communitiesProvide opportunities for social interaction of the parent and childProvide families with timely, accurate and relevant information and resources to assist them achieve and maintain maximum health potential.Skills and ExperienceDemonstrated clinical experience in Maternal & Child HealthCommitment to family centred practice within an integrated early years service modelAwareness of child and family health issues, normal child development, family dynamics and promotion of maternal well beingAble to use computer systems, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and CDIS.Qualifications & Employment RequirementsPost graduate qualification in Maternal & Child Health Nursing (Essential)Registered General Division 1 Nurse & Midwife qualification recognised by AHPRA (Essential)Current drivers licence (Essential)Satisfactory completion of a National Police Record Check & Working with Children CheckEmployment requirementsApplicants must have the right to work in Australia.Preferred applicants will be required to undergo a National Police Record Check and hold a valid Working with Children Clearance.All City of Boroondara employees must be fully vaccinated.
