You know that quality matters and that delivering results requires a great team.In this role, you''ll:Right now, we have an opportunity for a Truck Driver MR General to join us permanent full time in the Road Maintenance Delivery team in Orange, NSW.Youll support delivery of road construction and maintenance activities across the network and report to the Works Supervisor.Key Responsibilities:Competently operate Light and Medium Rigid vehicles (with a GVM of greater than 4.5 tonnes)Tow any trailers that their vehicle is rated to towUndertake general road working labour duties when requiredWe encourage our teams to enhance their skills through training and development opportunities regularly.About youWe are looking for an experienced Truck Driver who has the capability to work under limited supervision and has experience in maintaining a safe and injury-free workplace for all employees while operating in a high-speed, high-traffic volume environment.You have sound experience operating medium rigid vehicles safely and experience undertaking physical labouring duties. You will also hold:White CardMR Driver Licence (valid and in date)Traffic control certificationsYou take pride in your ability to effectively communicate with other workers and members of the public and are dedicated to maintaining a safe work environment.You may be required to work outside normal working hours, attend after hour call-outs, and on occasion undertake projects that require travel throughout the state, working and camping away at locations away from the base station.Whilst not essential, experience in operating plant (loader, bobcat, pad-foot smooth drum) is desirable.Lastly, you have proven experience operating at a Road Worker Grade 3 level (see position description here).Wage and BenefitsThe wage for this position is WCS Pay Point 5 $1,254.44 (gross) p.w + super + allowances.Maternity/Paternity/Adoption leave availableCareer progression opportunities encouragedRewarding and inclusive team environmentFor more information on Employee Benefits at TfNSW please click here.Whilst this role is based in Orange, we also have a depot location in Lithgow.
