$72.97 per hour, plus salary packaging benefitsFull time with a monthly ADOAbout The RoleWe are looking for a Nurse Practitioner to provide specialised clinical services for individuals facing mental health challenges. With a key focus on AOD screening, assessment, treatment, and referral, as well as supporting families and collaborating with healthcare teams. This role will enhance integrated care for those with mental illness and substance use, while also building capacity within the AOD sector.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide expert knowledge in Mental Health and AOD, applying evidence-based nursing interventions.Develop and manage comprehensive care plans, including medication initiation and adjustments.The provision of brief non-pharmacological interventions including (but not limited to) supportive psychotherapy, psycho-education and other psychological interventions.Development and delivery of training around AOD referral, screening, assessment and treatment to support capacity building across the organisation.Referral to appropriate community services for ongoing support and collaboration with other care providers, including General Practitioners and specialist AOD services.Skills & ExperienceCurrent registration as a Nurse Practitioner, including Masters level Nurse Practitioner qualifications (or those deemed equivalent by AHPRA).At least 5 years clinical experience in a senior nursing role.Demonstrated ability to work with people with complex Mental Health Disorders and associated co-morbid presentation.Demonstrated ability in partnership with other services, that promotes a spirit of cooperation and collaboration, and respect for each others philosophy, priorities, knowledge, skills and experience.To see a full copy of the Position Description please click here.Interested?Click APPLY or if you wish to discuss the role prior to applying, contact Paula Matheson on 0431 256 554 or Dr Ranjini Rao on 0480 190 184 for a confidential discussion.We''re actively seeking candidates for this role and will review applications as they are submitted.
