$140,000 $160,000 per year + super + STIP + LTIPHorizon Minerals Ltd is a publicly listed gold mining company currently looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team. Our office is in West Perth and our projects are located within the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia.This role offers you a unique opportunity to be part of a business that has had a strong history of growth through recent mergers and acquisitions and will continue on this path and include a focus on sustainable organic growth to deliver value to our shareholders. This is a permanent full-time position with an immediate start.Key Responsibilities:Preparation of detailed models such as Life of Mine Financial Modelling, Economic / Project Financing models, Valuation Modelling, Options Studies and Modelling, Corporate Cash Flow Modelling.Cost of capital and Capital Management Analysis (CAPM / WACC).Creating financial models for valuation analysis of mergers and acquisitions, divestment and investment opportunities including sensitivity analysis. This will involve Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) modelling, asset benchmarking, trading and transaction comparable analysis, review of technical studies and preparation of internal and external presentations and documentation.Producing scenario models and case studies.Capex project performance analysis, capex and opex project appraisal including Business Improvement project assessment / appraisal, including NPV / DCF / IRR analysis for business case evaluations and assist with post implementation capex reviews.Key performance indicators (KPI) / business and operational performance management.Comply with company policies on: Security, confidentiality, ethical standards, trading in company securities, workplace conduct.Have full working rights in Australia.Reporting to the CFO & Company Secretary.Assisting the Financial Controller on financial accounting matters including month end and external financial reporting.Other ad-hoc duties as they may arise.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Analyst, preferable background would be within the mining sector; gold however multi-commodity experience will be highly regarded.Accounting / Commerce degree is essential, plus CFA membership preferred or CPA / CA acceptable.Mining qualification will be highly regarded; however, not essential.High level financial modelling, analytical skills and quantitative ability.Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate them into financial modelling analysis.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Experience working with executive teams and external clients.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.If you are interested, fit the criteria and believe you are diligent, have a good work ethic, are safety conscious and a team player, please follow the link below to apply for this role.
